Nationals In Greeting Style

Greeting is an act of communication in which human beings intentionally make their presence known to each other, to show attention to, and to suggest a type of relationship or social status between individuals or groups of people coming in contact with each other. Wikipedia

Greeting is important thing when you meet someone else, every nations have their own style in greetings according to their own culture. For example Indonesian people are usually say “Assalamualikum” as their own greetings, it is influenced by Islam religion and the eastern tradition.
Here is the nations with its own greeting styles :

1. Wai, Thailand


Thai's are usually using “Wai” as their own greeting style. Place your hands together at the chest and the head bowing down so that the thumbs touch the chin and the fingertips touch the forehead.

2. A Firm Hand shake, Russia


In Russia handshake is the standard way for men to greet one another in public.

3. Kiss on each cheeks, France


Kissing one the cheek is usually used by the frence in greeting, it basically kissing on the two side of the cheeks.

4. Namaste, India


Hindi are usually used Namaste as their greeting style, it is just like prayer in Buddhism.

5. A Bow, Japan


Japanese’s are usually make a bow to say hello or greeting when they meet people.


So that’s a few examples of greetings in different countries. greetings is very important because it is a symbol of warm hearted and welcome the others, when you’re traveling into a certain nations with its own unique culture, it is good to respect it.
